Manager, Financial Reporting

Location: London, ON

This is a newly created position to be based in London, Ontario within a fast paced growth oriented public company. The role will provide the ideal candidate the challenges and professional growth opportunities that a business minded chartered accountant is looking for.

Financial reporting will be now managed by the corporate office, soon to be located in London, ON

The immediate mandate of the new Manager, Financial Reporting will be to drive the process and manage the migration of the financial reporting function from the seven operating units into Corporate as well as working the CFO to make improvements to the current financial reporting process.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

· Complete monthly reporting package to all identified parties including all operating units on a timely basis

· Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators

· Drive variance analysis and monitor trends

· IFRS integration

· Oversee all the complex non routine work.

· Preparation of all regulatory filings.

Qualifications

Education

· University Degree

· CA designation

Experience

• A minimum of 4-5 years of public accounting experience with emphasis on public company and multi-divisional clients
• Plus a minimum of 2- 3 years public company experience at a controller or assistant controller level
