This is a newly created position to be based in London Ontario within a fast paced growth oriented public company that will provide the ideal candidate the challenges and professional growth opportunities that a business minded accountant is looking for.
The immediate mandate of the new Manager, Accounting Process & Integration will be to drive the process and manage the migration of all data from the seven operating units into Corporate.
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain cost accounting reports
· Responsible for monthly reporting extraction from business units
· Responsible for the quality assurance of the data extracted
· Chart of accounts management and data mapping control
· Oversee all centralized processing that is moved to Corporate
· Checklist and accounting policy updates
· Assist with Data Flow Integration consultant on streamlining data and assist Financial Reporting and the CFO in consolidation and other reporting requirements
· In addition to centralizing all Financial Reporting functions, Corporate Finance will be actively looking to centralize payroll, purchasing/payment and invoicing functions. Staffing will be adjusted as needed
